Synopsis
After a stay in a psychiatric hospital, two devoted sisters return to their family's remote country home, where their cold stepmother presides and something feels deeply wrong. Doors creak, memories blur, and the line between grief and the supernatural dissolves. Kim Jee-woon crafts a beautiful, slow-burning horror film rooted in a Korean folktale — more interested in dread, sorrow, and a gut-punch of a reveal than in cheap scares.
